Wildfire Lifts entered the home garage market as a 4-post specialist — and they’ve earned a following by doing one thing very well: delivering 9,000 lb free-standing 4-post lifts on 110V power with a 5-year warranty at prices between Triumph (budget) and BendPak (premium).

The brand doesn’t make 2-post lifts, scissor lifts, or portable lifts. They make 4-post lifts. Period. That focus shows in a product line that covers every home garage use case — from compact standard models to extra-wide exotic car variants to heavy-duty truck lifts.

Wildfire Standard

The entry model. At $4,395, it slots between the Triumph NSS-8 (~$3,200) and the BendPak HD-9 (~$6,100). The 72″ clearance and 170″ runway length accommodate most sedans, SUVs, and half-ton trucks with standard wheelbase. The 110V power and free-standing operation mean zero installation costs beyond unboxing and assembly.

Wildfire XLT — Best Seller

Lab Verdict: The XLT is Wildfire’s best model and one of the best values in the 4-post lift market. The extra 10″ of clearance (82″ vs 72″) and 20″ of runway length (190″ vs 170″) over the Standard model accommodate full-size trucks, long-wheelbase SUVs, and taller vehicles. At $5,395, it’s $700+ less than a BendPak HD-9 while offering more clearance height, longer runways, 110V operation, and the option to run free-standing.

The trade-off versus BendPak: no ALI certification, no U.S. manufacturing, and a less established brand. But the specs, warranty, and price make the XLT the lift we’d recommend for most home garage buyers on a budget who need a 4-post lift.

Wildfire Exotic

The Exotic model adds 4 inches of runway width — 23″ versus the standard 19″. This matters for wide-body vehicles: Corvettes, Camaros, GT350/GT500 Mustangs, Porsches, and any vehicle with wheels that sit close to the runway edge on standard-width runways. The wider runways provide more margin for tracking error during loading and more stability for wide-stance vehicles.

At $7,195, the Exotic carries a significant premium over the Standard ($4,395) for the extra 4″ of width. Worth it if you own a wide-body car that makes standard runways feel tight.

Wildfire Exotic Tall

The Exotic Tall combines the extra-wide 23″ runways with taller columns (81″ clearance). If you need to store a wide-body vehicle with a second vehicle parked underneath, the extra height provides more clearance for the lower vehicle.

Wildfire Truck

The only 220V model in the Wildfire lineup. The 12,000 lb capacity covers F-250/350, Silverado/RAM 2500/3500, and heavy commercial vehicles. Wildfire 10000 Double Wide

A dual-platform design similar in concept to the BendPak HD-9SW. Stores two vehicles side-by-side on top with space for two more underneath. Designed for multi-car collectors who need maximum density.

The 5-Year “Post-Post Warranty”

Wildfire’s warranty is named the “Post-Post Warranty” — and it’s the most comprehensive coverage in this price range:

This covers everything mechanical and structural for 5 full years. Compare that to:

• BendPak: 5-year structural, 2-year hydraulic, 1-year electrical/operating, 1-year labor
• Atlas (hobbyist models): 2-year structural, 1-year hydraulic
• Atlas (commercial): 5-year structural, 2-year hydraulic
• Triumph: 1-year parts only

Wildfire’s 5-year coverage on the hydraulic ram and motor is a genuine differentiator. BendPak covers hydraulics for only 2 years; Atlas hobbyist models cover hydraulics for only 1 year. If the hydraulic ram fails in year 3, Wildfire covers it. BendPak and Atlas don’t.

The gap: Wildfire doesn’t explicitly include labor warranty. If a component fails under warranty, they ship the replacement part — you handle installation. Same as Atlas. BendPak includes 1 year of labor warranty.

Safety Features

Every Wildfire model includes:

• 3/4″ thick safety locks on all four corners — mechanical locks that hold the vehicle independently of hydraulic pressure
• Secondary “cable slack” lock on each corner — a backup lock that engages if a cable loses tension, preventing one-side drop even in the event of cable failure
• 360° ball bearing caster wheels — lock in place during operation, unlock for repositioning
• Standard lock engagement at multiple positions during the lift cycle

The secondary cable slack lock is worth highlighting. On most 4-post lifts, if a cable breaks or loses tension, the side with the failed cable drops. Wildfire’s cable slack lock is a dedicated secondary mechanism that catches this scenario — a meaningful safety addition that isn’t standard on all competitors.

Wildfire XLT vs. BendPak HD-9

Verdict: The Wildfire XLT wins on specs (more clearance, longer runways, 110V, free-standing) and price. The BendPak HD-9 wins on ALI certification, U.S. manufacturing, brand reputation, and labor warranty. If you prioritize certification and brand pedigree, buy BendPak. If you prioritize specs and value, buy Wildfire.

Wildfire Standard vs. Triumph NSS-8

Verdict: The Triumph is $1,200 cheaper. The Wildfire has 1,000 more lbs of capacity and 4 more years of warranty. If budget is everything, buy Triumph. If you want better capacity coverage and significantly better warranty protection, the extra $1,200 for Wildfire is well spent.

Strengths

• Best warranty-to-price ratio in the 4-post market. Five years on everything for $4,400–$9,200.
• 110V + free-standing on most models. Zero installation cost beyond assembly.
• Model variety. Six configurations covering standard, tall, wide, extra-wide, truck, and double-wide use cases — all based on the same core platform.
• Secondary cable slack lock. A genuine safety innovation not standard across all competitors.
• Long runways. The XLT’s 190″ runways accommodate trucks and SUVs that won’t fit on shorter-runway competitors.

Weaknesses

• No ALI certification. None. This matters to buyers who require third-party safety verification.
• Imported manufacturing. Not U.S.-made. Quality control relies on the brand’s import inspection process.
• Smaller brand. Less established than BendPak, Atlas, or Triumph. Fewer dealers, fewer independent reviews, less aftermarket support.
• ~$950 shipping. A significant cost that closes the price gap with competitors. A Wildfire XLT at $5,395 + $950 shipping = $6,345 total — much closer to a BendPak HD-9 at ~$6,100 + shipping.
• No 2-post, scissor, or portable lifts. If you want anything other than a 4-post lift, Wildfire can’t help.
